I recently heard an HPR Podcast where it was mentioned that Nano was not a real text editor. That somehow VI or Emacs or Kate or Gedit were in some way better than Nano. I just wanted to set the record straight that Nano is a serious editor that has a huge following and a facebook page.

But a bit disapointed that it is in Facebook. I just use it and like it but not enough to join Facebook.

Nice show, but dude, that was some really bad noise!
You probably meant "nano is an editor for _normal_ people". I use vi-style keybindings in my shell but I have yet to notice to be imaginary ;P
Oh, and -1 for Facebook from me, too.
Nano should be careful not to be kicked out of GNU when RMS hears about this…
